Job Description :
Our Chatham, Ontario area client sells and services premium brand heavy agricultural equipment. Growth has come in the business creating a need to hire an experienced Service Manager. You will have overall responsibility to ensure the effective operation of the service department. Standard duties include but not limited to:
Manage a team of 6 technicians/mechanics
Ensure technicians work is prioritized accordingly
Deal with any customer issues and upsell service work when appropriate
Ensure the profitability of the service department
Hire, fire, discipline, coach mechanics/technicians
The successful candidate will have worked in an heavy machinery environment previously. Compensation will include a competitive salary plus a company phone, vehicle access when required, and extended medical benefits including RRSP match for a legitimate candidate with relevant experience.

Required Qualifications :
-Previous Service Manager or related experience in a heavy equipment environment
-Knowledge and understanding of farm and agricultural machinery preferred
-Superior customer service skills
-High energy, positive attitude
-Very organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities at once
-Good leader
-Heavy duty mechanic/agricultural machinery technician experience preferred
