Mechanical Field Service Technician (Bilingual French and English)

Our client is a supplier of machinery to the food industry. They are currently looking for a field service technician to service their clients primarily in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan and surrounding area.

You MUST be bilingual and be able to speak both French and English

Candidates who come from a food processing or food production background will be the best fit. However, if you can demonstrate strong mechanical/millwright skill working with plant based manufacturing equipment, you will also be a good candidate.

The position requires regional travel to visit customer sites in the area and will require a person who is professional with good communication skills.

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday daytime, with flexibility to perform some after-hours and weekend work with overtime compensation.

$36-$42 per hour range plus company vehicle, phone, computer, employer paid benefits, outstanding training.

-5 years experience as millwright or electromechanical technician

-MUST be bilingual and be able to fluently speak French and English

-Valid class 5 driver's license

-Clean driver's abstract with ability to safely operate service vehicle

-Valid passport with ability to travel out of country for training

-Available for regional travel up to 80%

-Available for Mon-Fri day schedule with flexibility for occasional off hours or weekend work

-Customer facing with professional communication skills

-Legally entitled to work in Canada
