Maintenance Manager
The successful candidate will have a strong manufacturing background with experience improving the efficiency of plant maintenance operations.
Duties include:
-Developing and maintaining systems which help maximize work within a preventative vs. breakdown repair culture
- Continuous improvement of processes to establish high standard of work safety and waste reduction in the plant
-Leading, coaching, and managing maintenance staff (direct and indirect)
-Ensure proper compliance with regulatory requirements
-Understanding and helping to improve production capacity when appropriate
-Working effectively with other managers and supervisors to work toward common goals for plant efficiency, positive work culture, manufacturing innovation, and improved processes

-Demonstrated knowledge of best practices within food and beverage plant operations
-Experience managing in a unionized labour environment
-Background working with CMMS programs
-Red Seal Millwright/Electrician or Engineering degree preferred
-Superior interpersonal skills, highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and work with different types of people
