Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor or Manager who loves leading small-mid sized teams in collaborative, hands-on environments for a client in Mississauga.

Our client is a small-mid sized food manufacturer, they are eager to hire a Maintenance Manager who will mesh well with their positive culture and be a key driver of continuous improvement within the maintenance department.

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day maintenance operations, ensuring all production machinery, equipment and facilities are in safe, operational order at all times via a combination of preventative/predictive maintenance and effective breakdown response.  They will maintain accurate, up to date service records and maintenance logs for each major piece of equipment and create and maintain contracts for any repairs not conducted in house. The maintenance manager will also proactively improve maintenance processes and standards as appropriate, manage, coach, and train team members, provide remedial action when required, and ensure safety standards are upheld at all times.

Qualified candidates will be licensed millwrights with at least 2 years of relevant leadership experience within a production environment. While food or packaging would be an asset, we welcome candidates from all manufacturing backgrounds to apply. Candidates must be comfortable leading by example, this is not a management role that can be done from behind a desk - we are looking for individuals who can be hands-on and develop a strong presence on the plant floor.

Our client is offering competitive compensation, good benefits, RRSP, and more for qualified individuals.
