Job Description :
We are seeking a talented welder/fabricator, pipefitter, or millwright for an exciting day shift opportunity with our progressive, clean energy client in the Kitchener area.
Our client is revolutionizing production technology in their space, and they are excited to be moving from design stage to implementation - their production systems are ready to be put to use. As such, they require a talented welder/fabricator or pipefitter with mechanical aptitude to be a key player in the manufacturing and fabrication process. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for fabrication and assembly of custom processing equipment, and will be instrumental in developing the process for assembling their complex systems. This person will work with engineering on system layout, suggest improvements, and take lead on assembly, installation and set up, testing, and verification.

Qualified candidates will possess a relevant trade certification (Red Seal strongly preferred), experience with stainless steel welding, process piping, and pipe integration, as well as exposure to high temperature, high pressure systems. Strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement are critical to success in the role.
Target compensation is around $40-45/hr + excellent benefits (from day 1!), for a primarily Monday - Friday day shift work schedule.

Required Qualifications :
- One of the following trade tickets: Steamfitter (307A), Millwright (433A), Welder (456A), Pressure Systems Welder( 456P), Metal Fabricator/Fitter (437A), or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (313A).
- 2+ years of stainless steel welding experience
- Experience with high pressure, high temperature systems
