Job Description :
We are now seeking a Project Engineer specialized in injection moulding for a progressive organization in the Barrie area. This is a senior level opportunity perfect for individuals with 7-10 years of mold engineering experience or more, who can add significant value from tool design through to production.
The Project Engineer will for manage and solve tooling problems by utilizing our client's state-of-the-art technology and equipment, manage mould design suppliers and timelines, design injection moulding tooling based on customer requirements, and support overall program timing & strategies as required to ensure projects are completed on time to customer specification. Other responsibilities will include everything from participating project review and kick-off meetings, creating bills of materials, preparing products, process design, and development activities using APQP processes, and beyond.
This is a highly technical role requiring extensive hands-on knowledge of injection moulding machines and processes, we are looking for directly relevant individuals with long histories of success working in the plastics space. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 7 years of injection moulding project or process engineering, strong project leadership experience, and ideally some exposure to program management.

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Exceptional computer skills (Microsoft Suites, AutoCAD)
- Demonstrated interest and experience in the plastics industry (minimum 7 years)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
