Job Description :
Our client in Brampton, ON who is a very busy bottling manufacturer is looking to hire an Industrial Electrician for their facility.
Job Duties:
- Applicant(s) will be performing all duties related to the Industrial Electrician and all other duties as assigned in a safe manner and follow departmental and plant SOPs and policies.
- Works from complex blue prints, wiring diagrams, shop handbooks, layouts and other specifications (written or verbal).
- Repair and installation of electrical or electronic equipment and component parts
- Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical principles, properties of various materials, principles of operations and application of equipment such as motors, switches, generators, conveyors machinery etc.
- Responds to calls and alarm systems for electrical issues.
There will be a mix of indoor and outdoor work, so you must be comfortable working in a variety of conditions.
The schedule will be a continental shift that rotates every 2 weeks.

Required Qualifications :
- Applicant(s) must hold a current Ontario 422A Industrial Electrician’s License or a 309A Construction & Maintenance License.
- Applicant(s) must have a least two (2) years’ work experience as an electrician in a heavy manufacturing /industrial environment.
- The successful applicant(s) should also have strong working knowledge of PLCs, electronic drive systems, the Electrical Code, PLC relay logic, power distribution equipment, phase motors (single and 3 phase), control instrumentation VFD’s etc. and related components within the equipment.
- Successful applicant(s) will be required to perform electrical, and instrumentation work.
- Applicant(s) must be physically fit and may be required to pass a specific medical examination related to the physical requirements of the position before being accepted.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate using English language.
