Heavy Machinery Sales Manager

Job Description :
We are on the hunt for an experienced sales leader.


The incoming candidate should be experienced in sales management, coming from a background selling heavy construction and earth-moving equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, scrapers).


In this role you will manage a team of 8-10 people including an administrator, 2 inside reps, and the remainder of the team being outside sales people.


Philosophically, you will be a manager who encourages accountability through coaching, teaching, and support.  You will NOT be a micro manager or rely on outdated methods of motivation as your way to inspire and grow the team.


This position can be based in Central or Southern California, although it is preferred this person is based in North Los Angeles Country area.

Required Qualifications :
-3-5 years of sales management experience 

-5 plus years of experience in heavy construction equipment sales

-Successful background performing in a dealership environment preferred

-Product knowledge of major manufacturer brands (Volvo, CASE, Komatsu, CAT, John Deere, etc).

-Able to relocate to California immediately if not already a resident
