Field Service Refrigeration Technician
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Refrigeration Technician to join a prominent commercial and industrial refrigeration company based in North Okanagan and servicing surrounding regions. This role involves working with a high-performing team to install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in field service and industrial refrigeration, particularly those with knowledge of ammonia-based systems. The role is physically demanding and requires someone who is both skilled and adaptable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform service and maintenance on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing customer-focused service in a professional manner
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems when required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Additional OT opportunities available
Benefits and Compensation:
Competitive wage based on experience:
- Red seal ticketed at the entry level - $50-$55 per hour
- Experienced Red Seal ticket - $60-$65 per hour

- Red Seal Refrigeration Ticket (HVAC/R) preferred, or 3rd/4th-year apprentice with relevant experience and willingness to grow
- 3-5 years of field service experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration
- Knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration (an asset)
- Physically fit and able to manage the demands of the job
- Must have valid drivers licence (abstract will be requested to assign service vehicle)
