We're on the hunt for a talented heavy equipment mechanic for a field service opportunity based out of Prince George, BC.
Our client, a highly successful and constantly growing equipment dealer & rental company, is hoping to add a field service tech to their team in the Caribou Region. Qualified candidates will be Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanics with a high degree of comfort working independently on all sizes of forklifts and other heavy equipment, including cranes and potentially even some trucks. You must also be personable and professional, as you'll be dealing directly with clients on a regular basis.
This is a M-F, day shift opportunity for the most part, but candidates must be flexible to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation. You must also be comfortable with a fair bit of travel, as you will be responsible for servicing the whole Caribou region, including Quesnel, Smythers, and Mackenzie. Overnight trips are occasional & well-compensated (as is all travel).

Required Qualifications :
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic certification (Red Seal)
- Experience working on large forklifts & other material handling equipment
- Ability to work independently and deal effectively with clients
- Valid driver's license & ability to operate a vehicle
- Flexible to travel throughout the Caribou Region, with some overnight required
