Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Automation Technician for an extremely reputable auto manufacturer in Guelph, Ontario.

The Automation Technician will be responsible for the set-up, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all automation equipment & systems, including PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, etc.This is a fast-paced, highly automated plant, so all candidates must have at least 5 years' of strong experience, especially with Allen Bradley and Siemens product. Candidates must also be comfortable designing, verifying, and maintaining electrical schematics & components, as they will be involved in preventative maintenance & repair of production & support equipment.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years' experienced with automated equipment, especially within the auto industry

Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology (robot/automation program) or a Provincial/IP Electrical Ticket (309A or 442A)

Strong PLC knowledge - Allen Bradley, Siemens

HMI Programming experience

Knowledge of robotics
