Job Description :

We are seeking millwrights for Mon-Fri day shift opportunities in Hamilton, ON.

An example of common duties include:

- Performing mechanical maintenance functions on all equipment.

- Proactive maintenance to prevent production delay.

- Perform inspections, repairs and rebuilds in both shop and plant environment.

- Complete reports to convey repairs conducted and condition of equipment.

- Fabricate as required using various welding and machining methods.

Required Qualifications :

-Minimum 8000 hours of millwright experience accrued during apprenticeship

-433A certified or red seal equivalency is preferred

-Exposure to heavy equipment is an asset

-Experience with both emergency breakdown and preventative maintenance is an asset

-Background with equipment overhauls and rebuilds is an asset

-Experience with cranes, rigging, shutdowns is an asset

-Experience in a heavy industrial maintenance environment is preferred

-Positive attitude, reliable worker, physically healthy in relation to job requirements
